I don't know if it's OCD or just a THING but I have a left/right symmetry thing. like, if I step on a crack with my left foot I need to step on a crack with my right, but if they're not even (1)

unfortunately for my OCD, sometimes my ADHD means that the light **wasn't** actually off, which makes fighting the compulsion in the future so much harder 😭

I watched British show about people with OCD and one woman said she truly believes that if she doesn’t clean her house 3x a day her kids will die. Its scary to live with that thought

One time I checked the ingredients of peanut butter to make sure it was dog safe. I got up to recheck so many times I just took the jar to bed with me. I don't have a diagnosis.

I have this very specific one where when I have like...a bad thought about something bad happening I have to knock three times on wood for every thought. wood specifically. other surfaces don't work.
