Mine has one tiny speck of dirt under it and I had numbererous air bubbles I had to work out from under it. Finally had to lift the edge of the screen protector back up a little to get them out

I bet your fingers have to press down on it hard as well for the screen to sense the touch since it’s a thick screen protector
