the only issue I had was it wasn't a "disney resort" so magic bands and taking sovineers back to rooms was not a perk.

Boardwalk has my whole heart. Love the theme and a 5 minute walk to Epcot is hard to beat

I stayed there once when it was still relatively new… Unfortunately the pool was closed down and had no access to the pool bar either. The workability to Epcot was great
