@thenis10: HOW TO STOP THE BALL FROM BOUNCING ON YOUR FIRST TOUCH 🙏 A problem that many people struggle with is the football bouncing up when they try to control a firm pass at their feet. Often they will be trying a two touch turn like this, or a simple stop of the ball and their contact causes the ball to rise, making it difficult to play with their second touch. Lets look at why this happens and the fix: THE REASON Their foot is making contact with the ball too high and pushing their foot down on the ball, causing it to bounce into the ground and into the air. This comes from not reading the path of the ball correctly and putting their foot in an inappropriate position to touch it. Furthermore, they may try to kill the ball by putting force down on the ball, causing it to bounce. THE SOLUTION Make contact lower on the ball, right in its centre, and to make it stop, pull your foot away from the ball as you make contact, essentially absorbing the force of the ball leaving it in its spot. This is easy to say, but hard to do in practice. The only way to develop this ability is to practice receiving the ball in this way and actively trying the technique. Have someone fire the ball into your feet, or use a wall, and work on connecting with the middle of the ball and pulling your foot away from it to stop it still. With this touch, you can perform the turn seem above, or, you may require a delicate touch like this in a plethora of different scenarios on the football pitch. Keep it tekky 💫 ————————— #football #futbol #futebol #fussball #calcio #Soccer #pro #training #technique #tekkers #selectsport #footballtraining #soccertraining #footballer #soccerskills #footballskills #soccerlife #nikefootball #soccerplayer #footballplayer #footballskillstraining #soccerskillstraining #footballtechnique #playsoccer #soccerlifestyle #trainingdrills #footballcoaches #soccercoaches #footballtalent #footballpractice #fyp
