THIS! I hate pleather with a passion. Real leather products can last for years and years. Good quality isn't cheap but it's so worth it.

This cheap thin faux leather gets ruined easily, but I have a faux leather backpack that I brought to university, commuting every day on buses/trains/subways. Still looks brand new.
