@springfield_township: After three years of planning and construction, @HighGrainBrewingCo hosted a ribbon cutting at its new Winton Road Brewery on May 3, 2024. The former Brentwood Bowl now holds a tap room, HighGrain’s brewing operations, LaTerza Artisan Coffee’s roasting operations, as well as a retail coffee counter, and Revel OTR Urban Winery’s wine making operations. Throughout the project, all three companies, as well as Springfield Township, have kept their eyes on collaboration and creating a place for the community to gather. This project revitalizes a 46,000 sq ft building that has stood on Winton Road since 1960. Springfield Township was able to assist with the redevelopment funding by applying for grants. The Township was awarded $422,765 from the Hamilton County Community Economic Development Assistance Program, $500,000 from the Hamilton County Community Revitalization Grant, and $300,000 from the Ohio Department of Development Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program. “This has been a team effort from the beginning,” said Springfield Township Trustee Joe Honerlaw at the ribbon cutting on Friday.
