Call some Machine Shops. if they have a magnetic chuck of any kind they will demagnetictizor for there parts.

That is amazing I pulled a truck in that was hauling hay with me his 444 froze up with the same kind of problem ? Never had someone as good as you guys , never did figure it out ? I’m sure now !

ya know, the engine I rebuilt in college i suspected this to be an issue and my instructor said I was, and I quote "drunk" not even a year after graduating I had to rebuild that engine because of this

back in the day,, building high performance gas engines, it was common practice to DEMAG rods and cranks. I was told Magnification effects are caused by a badly spun bearing at one time or another.

Might can check around on possibility gettin the parts demagnetized not sure if that’s a thing but maybe worth it to the customer to check it out…

You can us a analog short finder gauge to trace the path of where the high voltage entered the truck and follow it all the way to where it found ground

yes..totally agree on the poor ground...side note..I had one redone and had bigger water jackets and coolanrt flow..if I remember they put in a bigger rad etc to keep it cooler on the back 3 liners.

engine block was attached to a generator early in life..or the pistons..could also be a tug boat..** due to the proximity of generator ** also maybe a magnet @scrap.metal place
