@precisioncaremedical: What is a medial branch block and how does it work? A medial branch block is a procedure used to diagnose and treat pain originating from the facet joints in the spine. It involves injecting a local anesthetic near the small nerve branches that transmit pain signals from the facet joints to the brain. If the pain is temporarily relieved after the injection, it helps confirm that the facet joints are the source of the pain #backpainrelief #painmanagement #arthritis #mri
I had multiple of these and made no difference at all. No relief at all.

I just had this done on Wednesday! It helped so much! It was depressing once the freezing wore off though. The temporary break from pain was so nice 😭 I finally felt normal again 😭

Is it normal to experience intense pain during the injection? I had 2 in my neck and it was one of the worst pains I’ve ever felt. The entire time.
