when you're hanging the clutch, do you tighten the pressure plate down one at a time in a circle or do you do it in a crisscross pattern??

I hang solo clutches on the trans. not sure what makes it impossible. plenty of room at least on our application to get an electric or air ratchet on the cage bolts to remove them.

With a solo all you do it the same as the Manual when you bolt you the clutch bolts undo the caging bolt as long as the 2 mounting bolts are TIGHT under that caging bolt

I put my disc and intermediate plate on my line up shaft and hang them in the pilot bearing then slide the pressure plate over and hold it on the flywheel

In 10 years when my back is a problem I’ll start using a clutch jack 😂 if you started now you’d probably get 15 years instead of 10

All I’m going to say is that Eaton says you are not supposed to put the clutch on the input shaft due to it’s weight

The job always seemed too good faster if I hung the clutch on the input shaft instead of stabbing it! I spent 9 years in the diesel truck world and I got out and went too Automotive and some days I miss it I really do then I stand up and realize how bad my back, hips and knees are I had surgery last year too put 4 plates, 10 screws and 2 rods in my back so im kinda out of the semi world but I love watching you and other guys kill it! Keep up the good work brother 🤘🏻

the only proper way to hang a solo clutch is to hang it over the scrap bin......then drop it in👌

if I can come straight in with Trans I hang it on the fly wheel, if I cant come straight in I hang it on Trans and go threw the access panel
