in my part of Texas, the sugar goes in the pot with the boiling water. it melts into sugar water so it's not gritty.

Change up - Tea punch is so good, try. 1 cup of Sweetened Instant Tea with Lemon, 2 cups of water, one 2-liter bottle ginger ale chilled. Serve in a punch bowl or jug with lots of ice.

Grandma always put a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in her sweet tea for the bitter taste some restaurants do that real 🍋 extra ice for us Texans

I don't do lemon tea but I do 5 tea bags leave them steep in a 1 quart pan add the sugar while the water is hot. stir in ice WATER IN 1/2 gallon pitcher best tea 1 c. sugar

I’ve been making this for ever My boys grew up on this ice tea but I use 2 lemonade packets And yes wherever sobering new tastes it they just love it

Putting hot liquids in that kind of plastic isn’t safe. That’s why ppl use a glass tea container. Chemicals.
