My indoor Lowe’s clearance edge of death hydrangea made it outside, in ground, zone 9 and has green pinks and blues from the blooming fertilizer I use. It’s definitely possible with the right care.

I’ve planted a row of endless summers and they look just like these. Just make sure you water often and I add coffee grounds frequently to the soil. I get the hydrangeas at Costco.

Hopefully they make it, but Costco and most stores just sell indoor ones and they won’t get big. You have to get landscaping ones most the time

If they start to change color, like fading to pink, it’s bc of your soil PH. You can buy acidified or lime to keep them the color you want!

Do yourself a huge favor…run a drip line with irrigation. They need lots of water the first year. Especially in 90 degree weather. They look great!

I have 6 costco hydrangeas in my backyard. 2 yrs after planting, they are almost taller than me and LOADED with flowers! Lots of water and good fertilizer.
