Egg tart 🥚🥧🫠 Tart dough * 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter * 2 tbsp ice water Egg tart filling * 4 large eggs * 1 cup evaporated milk * 1/2 cup granulated sugar * 1 tsp vanilla extract * Pinch of salt Instructions: * In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. * Add the cold butter cubes to the bowl, and using a pastry blender or your fingers, work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. * Gradually add the ice water, one tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough comes together. * Shape the dough into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before using. * Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). * In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined. * Divide the tart dough and press it onto the baking tins. * Pour the egg and milk mixture into each baking tins. * Bake the egg tarts for about 15-20 minutes or until the custard is set and the edges of the tarts are golden brown. * Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. #eggtart #eggtarts #fyp #EasyRecipe
