@stemwithm: Did you know you can bounce a raw egg?! 👀 Materials: Egg Vinegar Food colouring (optional) Jar Method: • Fill the jar with vinegar • Add a few drops of food colouring for a coloured rubber egg • Add the raw egg to the vinegar • Leave for 2-3 days • Carefully remove your egg and gently dry with a paper towel • Have fun bouncing your egg but be careful... Once the membrane breaks, you will have egg everywhere! ✨The Science✨ Eggshells contain calcium carbonate. When submerged in the vinegar, the acetic acid and calcium carbonate react.
