But, in addition to its natural beauties and tourist attractions, Copacabana beach is also a place of great historical and cultural importance for Brazil. It has been the stage for several political and cultural manifestations over the years, in addition to being the stage for important sporting events, such as the volleyball and football competitions of the 2016 Olympic Games. In summary, Copacabana beach is one of the most emblematic places in Rio de Janeiro, combining natural beauty, leisure, culture and history.
