Can one be allergic to second skin? I haven't gotten a tattoo because I hear second skin is the best. Can a person just buy a single sheet from a tattoo artist?

2nd skin made my tattoos either get infected and bleed the lines, but I've never had a problem with clingfilm, it's easier removed and cleaned under more often

I bought second skin for my latest tattoos, after 5 days my tattoos are perfect! Only a tiny bit of pealing on one line, but the rest is perfect.

It’s crazy how different artist say different things, the studio I use hate second skin for big tattoos for the same reason you don’t like cling film

Had four tattoos done and I would go to sleep with cling film on and never had any problems with it. Just clean it often and put cream on. Literally no problems.

I’ve never been offered second skin…. And I take the cling film off about 4/5 hours later and just keep the tattoo clean and moisturised - seems to have done me right so far 🤞
