I think people also misconstrue what a “community” is. There’s people that just are friendly and have fun together, and then there’s community. And a lot of people assume they’ve built community

I branched out and made more friends that did include me ( also sometimes you might have to be friends with people that already don’t have an established friend group)

I used to feel this way about some of my close friends who drifted apart once they’re married or on different paths- let bygones by bygones and I now put in the effort for ppl who appreciate me 🥰
