Nachos? But make them Italian! Perfect Italian appetizer, especially for game day. Lasagna nachos are our new favorite thanks to the Today Show! Boil lasagna noodles in salt water. Simmer onions, red pepper flakes and crushed tomatoes in olive oil. Add ground beef for the carnivores. Char peppers in separate pan. Mix Italian herbs, garlic & Parmesan cheese with cooked noodles. I tear my noodles apart so they are smaller like tortilla chips. I like to add a little extra fresh Parmesan too! In thin layers, add noodles to air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until crispy. You may have to do a few rounds. Cooking in thin layers is key to the crisp!! Place crispy noodles on a serving dish and top with garlic spread (optional), ricotta cheese, mozzarella pearls, and charred peppers. Can substitute for cheese and veggies of choice. The final layer is the red sauce. Serve & enjoy!
