Waiting for my MRI to see how big my borderline Phyllodes tumor is. Other screening showed 5cm. So worried after it’s removed it will be malignant.

I had this and mine was malignant.. had to get 2 surgeries and go through radiation for 6 weeks. Didnt need chemo because I caught it before it got to my lungs ♥️

When they come back, they tend to come back with a higher mitosis rate. When they spread, they are deadly! My fibro morphed into a huge Phyllodes tumour.

I was 19 when I had mine removed & then further margins. It looked identical to a fibroadenoma but my surgeon was concerned with how rapid it grew. Super grateful.

My result on paper is “likely fibroadenoma. Ddx:phyllodes” does that mean it can be phyllodes?? My doctor said its fibroadenoma but im kinda scared and waiting for 6 months is too long 😞

I had an excision of BLPT 7.1cm in Dec 2023. Another surgery to get clear lines 3 weeks later. Mam & u/s done June 2024 was clear. Found a new lump last week. Mam & u/s show 4 new tumors.

I had made the biopsy with the MRI , apparently it is phyllode, a benign one luckily , I'll get the excision next week , I hope it won't occur again , I would appreciate anyone sharing his experience

I had one taken out 1/15/21…I got the lumpectomy and then I did 6 weeks of radiation.

I have a history of fibroadenomas and one previously biopsied fibro grew and when rebiopsied was suspected phyllodes (surgical excision confirmed).

I had one at 16 and had it removed. it came back, the drs wanted me to get a double mastectomy after it came back.

my biopsy came back fragments of fibroadenoma but breast surgeon is ruling out phyllodes since it grew from 2 cm to 5 cm in 5 months…
