I have this diagnosis and am in severe pain. Cannot move my arm at all and ortho won't consider this procedure until I've had months of pain. He will only give steroid injections.

i have this (went to ER on Tuesday due to pain) but they also saw an underlying rotator cuff injury that was never fixed. does this affect what procedure they would choose to do for the calcific tendinitis?

Mine showed up on X-ray yesterday. All WorkMed wants to do is 1 physical therapy session a week for 8 weeks. I pray it helps. 🥺

I had this done in my right hip but only after I had to get PT, cortisone shots. Why can’t we just do the barbotage first? Now I have it in my left him. I’m OVER THIS PAIN
