I never understood that shinies were rare I remember having two shiny wismurs in og sapphire from grinding in rustboro tunnel and them releasing them bc I thought the game was broken.

i remember i played pokémon fire red and found a shiny spearow and i didnt had any pokéballs i flew and thought it would come back (i was 8) i regret it till this day that i didnt had pokéballs
