My Border Collie from puppy walked with a harness because he pulled so much and still did with the harness. I switched to a slip lead and walks so much better now.

I changed my mind today, I bought a flex leash and let him do, guess what Happed he was so happy. He didin pull or anything if I was to far he came, best decision!

Completely agree,started properly training lead walking from 8 months and for the first time ever-my dog is not pulling like a horse as he’s calmer vs puppy. I always made sure he could explore before

Not to mention, there is the long term health effects that using a collar to walk (especially with a dog that pulls) can leave 😢
