I have my sons party this Saturday in 4 days including today. It is okay to start decorating and leave out at room temp in an airtight container? I’ve made so many cake pops but never this early.

Hi I just made cake pop dough today should I leave on outer overnight and cut tomorrow or refrigerate overnight take out early am then cut and dip later in the day and leave out overnight for my sons party Saturday

So i can make the cake pop dough the night before , keep it in the fridge for 24 hrs , take it out and let it sit on the counter for a bit still in the Tupperware and then start dipping?

FYI, I just made funfetti/confetti cake dough and all of the colored sprinkles melted and the dough is a an ugly tan/brown color. I had to add more sprinkle to give the look of funfettie. 🙄

If I make cakesicles with a recipe using sour cream, can they still be left out or do they have to go in the fridge. My state allows shelf stable food only so I’m worried I can’t use sour cream:(

Is it possible to make cake pops or cake discs without making the cake into a dough consistency? May be a silly question but I just don’t like the texture of the cake when it is mashed together lol
