@destinationwellknown: how NOT to start your London trip ❌ Getting from Gatwick Airport to Central London is fairly easy and contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t have to be super expensive 🤓 The Thameslink service can take as little as 29 minutes from Gatwick Airport to London Bridge and costs only £13.80 if you book in advance. The Southern service to Victoria Station costs £14 (if you book in advance), and this train takes 32 minutes, which is only 3 minutes slower than the Gatwick Express (which costs £20.50). So there’s no need to take the Gatwick Express, but buying your ticket online before arriving at Gatwick Airport is a must, in my opinion 🤝
