I called a taxi company in the Cotswolds thinking 24 hours was more than enough time in advance and I was so shocked to discover it was just one guy and he was “busy” when I needed a ride 😂

Recommend getting the train from London to Moreton-in-marsh, then doing the Go Cotswolds day tour. It’s like £50 but you get to see all the sights!

Also remember, locals don't need to get transport between tourist spots, they want buses to get larger towns for work. So buses will run am out and pm back.

I grew up in the cotswolds, now love in London. One bus left my village per day, one bus arrived. I will never go back

Oh yes it’s so awful plus no taxis! I’ve been a city girl most of my life and living here is pretty but so annoying to get around - I dream of a train service 😅

My uncle from the Cotswolds was visiting me in London, I was saying how I’d like to move off grid & a deliveroo order turned up mid convo. He just looked at me and said I wouldn’t survive a week

you wanna download the stagecoach app!! pulhams is good but they don’t have an app but their buses are usually on time and empty. stagecoach have an app where you can buy tickets, plan your journey
