Try booking things 'incognito'. It's a feature on Google that essentially blocks your browser history so you have no online footprint. Prices are always lower.

i always buy one way fare to my destination and one way fare to return because it gives me more control of the departure times. I don't know if that would help correct this "magic trick"

I use to build thoese systems. No magic. They import data at schedule into their system but really grab the latest price when you are booking. So what you see may be price of yesterday.

If you don’t purchase the first time you’re checking fairs, they trace your browsing and later it will cost more. Use incognito or another device the next time, the airline tracks your dates etc

Yeah, it’s odd how often I am looking at tickets at the exact time of day the prices go up. Be a tough customer and keep checking back and they will go down, usually.

to avoid that, you surch your flights with a device, your phone for example, that you book with your PC connected on Wifi. try you'll see the difference😉
