Tutorial for shuffle dance beginners 👟 This is one of the most frequently asked questions I receive from people who have just started learning shuffle dance. Although I posted about it a long time ago, I’ve made a new video for shuffle dance beginners demonstrating tape measurement and how to use the tape with the Heels Running Man Tutorial. Here is the explanation: • Tape Measurement: Place the tapes between your feet according to your foot size (it depends on YOUR FOOT SIZE). Foot sizes vary from person to person. I’ve experimented with various spaces between the tapes, both narrower and wider. However, I found that spacing based on my foot size made me most comfortable to practice. Sometimes, it’s challenging to maintain the lines when practicing shuffle dance steps, but there’s no need to stress out. These tape lines are only guidelines to assist viewers in learning the steps and understanding how they look when practicing independently. However, using tape on the floor greatly helped me when I was a beginner shuffler. • Heels Running Man: This is one of the basic steps and is frequently used in shuffle dance. Now, you can determine where to place both feet using the tape when performing this step. 1. Lift the Right Foot (usually start with the Right foot). 2. Hop to start - Land both feet together but apart (Right Heel Front & Ball of Left Foot Back). 3. Take a small hop to put your Front foot to the center while your Back Foot is lifted like a flamingo to prepare to move forward. 4. Move the Left Heel Front & Ball of Right Foot Back at the same time. 5. Take a small hop to put your Front foot to the center while your Back Foot is lifted like a flamingo again to move forward. 6. Keep repeating these steps. 7.
