@smokeynicole: Visit Mount Fuji ✅ Drive initial D roads ✅ Ok yall can’t come @ me for using JDM this time cos this is actually a JDM car!! 🤣 We decided to rent a car to visit Mount Fuji from @omoshirorentacar and I highly recommend doing this over a tour! Renting our own car gave us the freedom to go at our own pace and visit the exact spots we wanted to visit. Our first stop was to the famous Lawson in Kawaguchiko, but unfortunately the day after we went, we actually found out that this view will now be blocked due to tourists disrespecting the area, so I’d probably skip this one. Second stop was the Cottage Tozawa Centre and can I just say how beautiful this spot was! It was quiet, uninterrupted, had stunning views and felt more private than other areas. We also got to see some remaining cherry blossoms which was so good! 🌸 Our third stop was a drive through Hakone to the Hakone skyline - if you’re a nervous driver, I’d do this one during the day instead as the roads are windy and elevated! We spent about ¥12,000 in tolls for this trip too, and used a full tank of petrol.
