QUEEN OF APOSTLES SEMINARY!! Some places are called schools, but some places become a part of who you are. Queen of Apostles Seminary, Afaha Obong, is one of those places for me. As an old student of this great institution I look back with deep gratitude and appreciation for the years I spent within those walls. QAS was more than a place where I received an education; it was a place where I was shaped, disciplined, challenged, guided, and prepared for life. The memories remain unforgettable—the early morning risings, the classes, the prayers, the discipline, the friendships, the laughter, the difficult moments, the corrections, the competitions, and even those moments when we couldn't wait for the next holiday. 😂 Each experience became a thread in the story of who I am today. Queen of Apostles Seminary taught me that education is not only about what we know, but also about who we become. It taught me discipline, responsibility, perseverance, respect, service, and the value of faith and character. Many of the lessons I learned there went far beyond the classroom, and I carry them with me wherever I go. I can remember my Rector; Rev. Fr. John George Ekanem always saying that

It taught me discipline, responsibility, perseverance, respect, service, and the value of faith and character. Many of the lessons I learned there went far beyond the classroom, and I carry them with me wherever I go. I can remember my Rector; Rev. Fr. John George Ekanem always saying that " _As a product of QAS, you can always survive very comfortably at any place, any time, and at any conditions."_ Those words are really manifesting and I won't even lie. To the priests, teachers, formators, staff, and everyone who contributed to our formation, I say thank you. Your sacrifices, corrections, guidance, and commitment helped shape generations of young men, and your impact will continue to live through the lives of your students. To my fellow old boys, especially my classmates the memories we created together will always hold a special place in my heart. We may have left the seminary, but a part of QAS remains with each of us. Today, I may no longer walk through those familiar corridors as a student, but whenever I think of Queen of Apostles Seminary, I remember a place that helped build me. QAS is not just where I went to school. QAS is where a part of me was formed. QAS is my alma mater. QAS is part of my story. With pride, gratitude, and nostalgia, I raise my voice as an old student and say: LONG LIVE QUEEN OF APOSTLES SEMINARY! LONG LIVE QAS! LONG LIVE THE OLD BOYS! Once a QAS student, always a QAS student. 💛🤍 #bigabel04 #QAS
