@betternaturedogtraining: @Impact Dog Crates ✔️ has never been in this business for the sake of dog welfare, and they have made that abundantly clear through their marketing and who they choose to partner with and support. There are plenty of reasons to want a durable crate, but having a dog who finds confinement or isolation panic-inducing is not a humane or ethical one. Dogs can and do continue to panic and hurt themselves even if the crate is inescapable. But if you feel a certain way about their decision to partner with “The Dog Daddy”, please feel free to make your voice as a consumer heard. #impactdogcrates #dogdaddy #cratetraining #separationanxiety #DogTraining #dogtok #fyp
Ruffland is the way to go for indestructible, especially in the car I will never use another brand! (Not an Ad) 😂

💯 their entire brand is a crate that will contain your dog no matter how badly they panic

I could never afford them anyway (and my current dog doesn’t need a kennel like that) BUT this makes me never want to go with them in the future

DANG, i JUST found them and they looked like the best option for us but now im second guessing. Who else makes sturdy non wire crates?

Yeah. Their marketing as 'escape proof' vs safety has always rubbed me the wrong way.

My dog had BAD separation anxiety AND crate trauma. But, I worked with her with a wire crate, and she LOVES her crate. She'll sass me if the door is closed and she can't get in.

just my perspective, an anxious dog in a crate is safer than an anxious dog lose in the house or (escapable) yard

Ugh thank you for mentioning that crates aren’t always the best option for dogs with separation anxiety, I feel so guilty that my dog has separation anxiety but crate training just made him scared

On that note I will not be getting my other dog an impact crate. Her sister has already pretty much broke hers soooo

If desensitized to the crate in the beginning, and treated as a good thing, crates can prevent separation anxiety.

We leave our dog’s crate open and he loves it so much he lays in it all the time but my friend’s dog hates it and hurts himself in it

I love that everyone is only talking about the bad trainer and not the point you brought up on just the company and how the market thing this is horrible! And needs to be know too!

What brand do you recommend other than Impact? The kennel is still a good product and every pet should have one for travel. Their marketing is just inappropriate.

i completely agree this was a HORRIBLE choice on their end, but it’s so dangerous to encourage people to not use crates ❤️

A crate should be a comforting place for them. We crate all out dogs at night or if we need to leave them home alone. They love their crates because it's a safe space for them.

My dog is crate trained and he typically will go in there on his own, but if I leave the house he has accidents and panics, I'm working on researching therapy for him, any tips for easing his stress?
