Why do people automatically assume it's a "date." I used to eat lunch with my married coworker all the time. It was never a date. We just enjoyed the same foods & we were friends.

I don’t have a problem if the lunch is during work hours work break. It would be different if is a date setup outside of work hours.

Husband used to go to lunch with two co-workers - one male, one female. Male moved away and I told him straight up he couldn't go out with her alone. I didn't have a good feeling about it at all.
