@nurse.johnn: Happy Nurses Week! I never knew I wanted to become a nurse till I had to take care of my loved ones and see them suffer everyday, it made me realize how important it is to have someone who will care, protect, advocate, and love you while you’re in your worst days, when my grandpa died I promised myself I wanted to do something so that I can take the regrets and guilt I felt not being able to cure or heal him when he was sick and suffering and NURSING was the first and the only profession I could think of. I’ve dedicated my time to get into this profession, cried many times, mental breakdowns, anger, depression, anxiety, panic attacks happened during nursing school as I really see myself doing this profession. Then I became a nurse the most satisfying feeling ever being there for my patients and their loved ones, it was a rocky road of a career due to the pandemic but it taught me one thing I WAS MEANT TO BE A NURSE. That no matter how harsh the conditions are and the job I want to do it because I want to care for those who are suffering, healing, and in need of help and 4 1/2 years now I still am proud to call myself a nurse and will continue to do this job no matter what the circumstances and changes I am having in my life as this is my calling. Cheers to all my sisters and brothers! We are a blessing to society and to those in need and I hope you know how important and loved you are.
