I buy a freezer pack for $200 in Edmonton feeds 3 of us for a month! chicken, beef and some pork plus extras like cheese or smokies. All from ab farmers..haven't bought store bought meat in forever.

i get my meat from wholesale, yes its like $150-200 a trip but it feeds my fam of 4 for like 2, sometimes 3 weeks and we get 4 meals of steak and 2 meals of stew from a $50-70 slab

If you ever have time on a Sunday morning go to the evergreen brick works farmers market, they have game meat there sometimes and it's soooo good.
