Look who came to visit A & I in Nigeria 🇳🇬! ❤️ I’m looking forward to family time esp now that A is on Easter break! I’ve always been very open and transparent with you all here from day one. I’ve shared the ups & downs / high & lows! Always hoping it’ll inspire & reach the right people. I communicated that I was pouring from an empty cup but nothing changed and I had to do what I had to do. Life has seasons, & this is my season of prioritizing myself and mental health, whether you agree with it or not, & honestly, I wish I had prioritized it sooner. If you’ve followed me for any amount of time then you know that my family & I are just a passport and flight away from any country we want to travel to. I can be in France today & Australia tomorrow. It’s really not that difficult. I’ve been to 60 + countries with my family, & many of them multiple times! Please Fam - Some important notes for you! - **Marriage / Life / Adulting IS NOT linear!** - Be open minded. - There’s not one way to do anything in life. - Your decisions don’t have to make sense to anyone but you! - It’s okay to go against the grain and against the norm even as a wife. Marriage isn’t prison. - It’s okay to make decisions for yourself as a mother as long as your children are safe & cared for. I took a solo trip my son stayed with his Dad and y’all were saying I abandoned him 🤦🏾‍♀️! Are your children’s fathers not competent enough to stay with their OWN kids? - It’s okay to live your life differently and in a way that works for YOU! - No 2 marriages are the same, don’t compare your marriage with others. - And sometimes you just gotta stand up for yourself, even in marriage & do what you gotta do! 🤷🏾‍♀️ I’ll say this over & over again, “Check on your strong single/married friends, they need you the most.“ Love Y’all ❤️😘 #themomtrotternigeria #themomtrottermentalhealth
