@jaxsonwebster26: Welp! Time to reveal my worst kept secret! For the last 2 years I’ve been one of the men behind Sparky! Thank you to all my friends, family, and of course ASU for supporting my dreams of being a mascot. It’s been a wild few years and now I’ll tell you all about it. I first became Sparky in August of 2022 shooting a commercial for Valley Metro. I instantly fell in love with mascoting and have been fortunate enough to open up Mullett Arena, stomp the bus, throw out a couple first pitches, go to Las Vegas 3 times, go to Washington for the ASU football game against the Huskies, and now, write this message from my last appearance at Phoenix Municipal Stadium as ASU takes on those damn Cats. I wanna thank my Mom and Dad for supporting this crazy dream and giving me a bunch of ideas for the past 2 years. My sister for filming my crazy ideas too! I also want to thank @Adri for pushing me to try out for Sparky… without you I’d never be where I am today. I love you always and forever. I also wanna thank all the fans. Without you, there’d be no joy to my job. To all the Stomp the Buses and all those crazy traditions we started at Mullett, you guys are the best fans in college sports. Finally, I want to thank Sparky. Thank you for helping me find a passion in my life. Making the most pessimistic of fans smile and act like they’re a kid again is a power that means so much to me.
