@jessicabakes_x: A quick behind the scenes of filming some food content 🎬. I start by setting up my first scene and then I film a couple of practice shots to check everything looks okay. Getting a bluetooth remote shutter is super helpful for content. This way, you only have to touch your phone or camera when you want to move it meaning you avoid having any wobbly shots. I highly recommend cleaning as you go, especially if your kitchen is the backdrop. Messy backgrounds are distracting and you want your background to be somewhat aesthetically pleasing. Next I set up my second scene. I add props and plants in the background to add interest, and cover things like plug sockets. If you have natural light that is great but I think a ring light is a really good investment for food content. Getting great shots often means doing things in a way you normally wouldn't. If you have to stick your arm through a ring light or stand on a chair to get the best shot, do it! 🤳🏽 Personally, I think snack breaks are also essential but I'll leave that one up to you 😉. The audience rarely see just how much mess is made while filming 😩. I like to clean fully before taking my photos.
