5gal is the minimum for a betta 🥺 it's not much more of a hassle with water changes and u can add more plants and make it just as pretty as u made this one!!

if your java fern starts browning, expose it’s roots by pulling it like 95% out of the gravel! i killed all mine before i finally read about their preferences lol. also a aquasoil is great 🫶🏼

just a little recommendation for if you get more tanks in the future. bigger tanks are easier to maintain and most betters will happily live in larger tanks🥰 this tank is lovely though

the tank size is fine ml<3 dont worry too much, although if the betta is very active u should maybe think about getting a bigger one in the future!

It should be better for a bigger tank I have 1 betta in a 20 gallon long but it is also pretty good in a 10 gallon😊
