300K queries isn't alot, I have 60K a day, and that's on a day I'm at work for 8h so nobody is basically using it. 😅 But at work, for 20 people we get 300K...a day 🙃

just create your personal dns with a vm that has pihole + unbound. google it. many tutorials

an even simpler way is the adguard dns! no installation, no sign-up/account, nothing! you just add their url as your dns in your phone/pc and it'll filter ads and trackers🙏 great for beginners

based on my AdGuard DNS statistic, I'm alone with 3 devices already consume >3 million queries per month. if add others' devices, close to 13 millions queries per month 😅😅

I gave up on DNS filtering as so many useful things stopped working. Google Shopping is directed through DoubleClick etc
