Marble Cake - a perfect swirl of chocolate and vanilla cake. Full recipe below: Vanilla Cake: 160g Caster/White Sugar 90g Eggs 60g Yolks 1 Fresh Vanilla Pod/ 1 Tsp Vanilla Paste 120g Heavy/Double Cream 150g Plain/Cake Flour 3g Baking Powder Pinch Salt 60g Melted Unsalted Butter 1. Whisk the eggs and sugar for 3/4 mins till thick. 2. Add in the cream and vanilla, whisk again. 3. Sift over the dry ingredients and gently combine. 4. Finally stir in the melted butter. Add it into a piping bag. Chocolate Cake: 165g Caster/White Sugar 65g Eggs 30g Yolks 120g Double/Heavy Cream 145g Plain/Cake Flour 3g Baking Powder Pinch Salt 30g Cocoa Powder 70g Melted Unsalted Butter Soaking Syrup: 100g Caster/White Sugar 100g Water 1. Repeat the same as the vanilla cake, adding the cocoa in with the dry ingredients. Add it into a piping bag. 2. Pipe alternating lines in a 2lb/900g loaf tin (which is lightly greased and coated with flour). Swirl it together with a toothpick. 3. Bake at 165C/330F Non Fan for around 80-85m or until a skewer comes out clean. While it bakes, boil the syrup ingredients together then set to one side. 4. Immediately remove it from the tin, and place it on a wire rack. Poke holes in the cake and soak it with the syrup. 5. Wrap it in clingfilm and chill in the fridge, ideally overnight. #cake #LearnOnTikTok #chocolatecake
