🍩✨ Fluffy Cinnamon Sugar Donuts 🍩🍬🥛 Ingredients: 🌾 🌾 350 g pastry flour 🫧 5 g dry yeast 🍬 40 g granulated sugar 🧂 2 g salt 🥛 120 ml warm kefir 🥚 1 egg 🧈 30 g peanut oil (softened) 🍬 Glaze: 90 g cinnamon sugar coating 🍫 rainbow nonpareils (optional topping) 🍯 salted caramel (optional filling) 🍩 Vegetable oil for frying Instructions: 👨‍🍳 Mix pastry flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center and pour in warm kefir and beaten egg, then stir with chopsticks until a shaggy dough forms. Add the softened peanut oil, transfer to a floured counter, and knead for 8-11 minutes until the dough is smooth, soft, and stretches into a thin, elastic windowpane. Return to the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled — about 50 minutes. Punch the dough down, roll it out to about 1.0 cm thick, and cut out donut shapes with a cutter. Don't throw away the little centers — those are donut holes! Cover and proof for another 15 minutes until they're plump and pillowy. Heat oil in a pan to 170°C, gently lower the donuts in, and fry for 45-75 seconds per side until gorgeously golden. Drain on paper towels. While still warm, dip each one in cinnamon sugar coating, or fill with salted caramel, or shower with rainbow nonpareils. Take a bite — crisp on the outside, cloud-soft inside, sweet and fragrant, pure happiness in every mouthful. 😋🍩✨
