Just use a regular socket rather than impact. Then use a breaker bar and the Armstrong technique to loosen.

Or just go to HarborFreight and buy their wheel socket set, and you take the plastic cover off, and it becomes a thin wall, which then immediately fits in those hard rims to get a normal socket in
