a lil tip i learned with the wrapping on the oil filter is to twist the wrapping and give it a little squeeze and it’ll come right off 😁

FYI, if you just break the filter loose, proceed with the rest of the oil change, then unscrew it and replace the filter last, far less oil comes spilling out of them.
