I hate this movie bc i think the original intention of this movie (to be a cautionary tale) was lost by most of its viewers. It spends more time glamorizing his life then showing the negative consequences of his actions, therefore it was inneffective in its storytelling.

didnt that movie telled that bad promotion is even better than a good one? because that's exactly what happened, real Jordan Belfort, serves only 3 years for stealing 110 milion dolars overall, and now he is still rich, and doing motivation, bussines speaches? I dont even ask how that happened, but movie maked him even more popular, and people love him even more

i think men are for twow is just because they get to see margot robbie butt naked. women (me included) funnily like american psycho but hate twow cuz it has no moral & it’s just so lame (+ leonardo 🙄

I feel like the point of the movie for sure is temptation. At the end of the film when we see the FBI agent who took down Jordan and all of his friends and got them arrested, he looks remiss/regretful

The movie is a masterpiece, it give off a massage, but people really miss its point. it has the same energy like Idolizing Patrick Bateman for his grindset or calling Tyler Durden a life coach. The reason women are sexualised is cause part masculinity for some people is treating women as objects. It’s all the same disease: confident idiots mistaking satire for endorsement.
