It’s cuz they numb the part where the top and bottom jaw close and open that’s what the crackling and the pop that happens when they get where they need it’s gonna hurt cuz they basically numbed the muscle and surrounding area so your muscles are bruised

You should be good girl, I have a lot of dental work done and that happens sometimes. It could be bruised but should go away soon, just take medicine and ice it 💗

I'm assuming it's better now but that's called TRISMUS. It happens sometimes after the type of injection you had to have. It restricts how far you can open your mouth and gets better with time

Same l went to the dentist today and the exact same thing has happened to me right now. I don’t know if they just hit like a sore part of your mouth or what but that’s what I was telling my doctor about.

Don’t sweat it yet. Just keep applying ice and ibuprofen. It should go away in a day or so. If it doesn’t then I’d let them know!!

I had one on my other side, and I never had the jaw pain and stuff but now I did it on my right and I can hardly open my mouth with the same issue
