I'm so sorry this happened to you. We have just moved back home after being in temporary accomodation since october after our house flooded during Storm Babet. Things will get better! I promise!

This happened to us!! Exactly the same. It has been 18 months and still not home. If you need any tips PM me as I wouldn’t trust the insurance or lost adjuster at all. We lost everything!!

This is why you should have an annual maintenance on your boiler and any storage tanks you have 🤣🤣 hope you got Insurance.. think your tank has given up 🤣🤣

Have been through this 2 1/2 years ago when the pipe to the cistern blew the joint off. We came home at 19.00pm and water every where. Had industrial dehumidifiers to remove excess water.

First thing put your phone down. Open all taps, isolated water ( you should know we're the stop valve is from day one ) no excuse!!

This happened to me - then the ceiling sagged & caved in - during Covid! Didn’t have a ceiling for 6 months and had to keep a dehumidifier going the whole time 😣

Absolutely gutted for you I know the insurance will cover this but the hassle and inconvenience is the worst part 😳…. Hope you get everything sorted 👍
