Willow bark extract is commonly used in Korean skincare for its natural exfoliating and anti-inflammatory properties. Willow bark helps to gently exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores, which can prevent acne and promote a clearer complexion & this is also considered a BHA (beta-hydroxy-acid). Similar to Salicylic Acid, its anti-inflammatory properties make it effective in soothing irritated skin and reducing redness, making it suitable for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin.
