I been thinking about home schooling my son he is 8 years old I get a phone call every hour just to come in and Calm him down it's a joke school now days don't know how to cope with kids with ADHD

My son attends mainstream and they are amazing he has so much support in place. Support I couldn’t provide. He has wobble cushions, lots of breaks & so much more. More than I could provide.

I don’t know . My son goes to sen school. There are only 5 other kiss in his class . He has movement breaks for whatever length of time he needs -he has access to a soft play room . Does short -

I dropped out and had a tutor come to the house for some time. I later stopped that and educated myself at my own pace.

They shouldn’t be isolated though the school system needs to change. It’s been failing kids that’s don’t fit in for years. I’m 38 and it was happening then. You have to remember most of us are

my little boy has just been diagnosed with ADHD and ASD and I agree it's tough for him he tells me all the time he wishes it wasn't boring and the other kids dont seem to understand him

my son couldn't do school but to he fair he got an early placement at college in a small class snd he's doing amazing, no always the case he also had ASD.
