Jury justice is anything but fair. How can anyone who has no clue about the ins and outs of a law ever fairly decide if someone broke said law.

Funny fact. When you’re summoned for Jury Service. You’re not likely to get picked anyway. 150 other people get summoned the same week and you end up sitting in the waiting hall for days.

How is it ever a fair trial if the jurors don’t know the law? They should be allowed to research the laws when possibly calling someone guilty

This is the sort of thing that would happen to me as I like to be fully informed on jury processes so that I’m not going into things ignorant or oblivious 🙈 I obviously wouldn’t research the case.

I did jury service in 2014, I loved it. found it so interesting. I got all my info from the evidence I was given, no need to do research

Since the general public is notoriously fickle, perhaps we need to scrap the jury system as is and instead have one composed of lawyers and people with expertise pertaining to the case in question.
