I’m just here to agree and say that coming from working at a treatment center for adults with substance use disorder, parents are 100% THE problem. They make our jobs impossible

I’m for sure in the center of being an adult child who had to distance herself from her parents while also learning to hover and over advise less with my 20 year olds

l respectfully disagree. I think it comes more from boomer parents working 24/7 and gen X parents wanting to work double time to be present…. Not saying it was the answer but was the response….

All my chjldren had an opportunity to go to under GRAD or GRAD school across the country. Its was a healthy seperation experience for everyone. I would enourage it for other families.
