This one is amazing too! Had to try it myself!
Meghan Markle's family controversy has taken another turn after London's Metropolitan Police referred its own handling of allegations against her father to an independent police watchdog. The decision was announced on October 29, following an internal review of a letter received by officers in January 2019. The correspondence reportedly contained allegations of wrongdoing outside the United Kingdom. However, instead of sharing the information with other law enforcement agencies, officers passed the letter to the office of Prince Harry and Meghan. Metropolitan Police Commander Adam Slonecki confirmed that the force had made a voluntary referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, known as the IOPC. The watchdog is now assessing the referral to decide whether further action is necessary. Importantly, this does not automatically mean a formal investigation has been opened. The police are also preparing to share information from the letter with overseas authorities. Reports identify the FBI and law enforcement agencies in the Philippines and Thailand as potential recipients, although the Met has not publicly confirmed every agency involved. The controversy has also drawn attention to a separate investigation in the Philippines involving Meghan's father, Thomas Markle Sr. His son, Thomas Markle Jr., alleged that he discovered suspected child exploitation material among his father's belongings. Philippine authorities are examining electronic devices connected to those claims. Thomas Sr. has strongly denied the allegations, describing them as lies and saying he is willing to cooperate to clear his name. Meghan previously said she had been informed about troubling allegations involving her father and that keeping her children away from him was a decision intended to protect them. Seven years after the original letter reached Scotland Yard, questions are now being raised about why its contents were not shared with other authorities at the time. Should police decisions involving serious allegations be independently reviewed when information is not passed to the relevant authorities? \#MeghanMarkle #ThomasMarkle #RoyalFamily #UKNews #breakingnews
