I was a fairly high earner, and could still never afford to do this for my kids. You’d have to make over 500k a year to afford this.

I think in 10-20 years the housing crisis will actually invert due to population decline and we'll end up with more houses than we need.

Unrealistic for most, now I have to buy my kids a house, along with pay for college. My parents gave me nothing to start my life & I’m still paying my own student loans @ 44.

I did this for my son before he was born. I bought a house in 2009 a nice townhouse and have been renting it out since.
